Tara Reid Has Finally Broken Her Silence Over Her Botched Plastic Surgery
20 October, 2006

Before doing any surgical operation one has to talk openly with the doctor about the risks involved, the recovery period and the cost of the surgery. Even the doctor should talk openly with the patient about the benefits and risks of the surgery. Unfortunately for Tara Reid, she learned her lesson a little too late.

Speaking to the US Weekly, Tara Reid reveals she underwent reconstructive surgery on September 6, 2006 , to repair the damage done by a 2004 implant and liposuction procedure.
"My first operation was horrible. The plastic surgery left me very scarred. My breasts were uneven and my skin was kind of saggy. Before I had it done I figured, I'm in Hollywood , I'm getting older, I'm going to fix them. but I didn't do my research", she said.

Reid further explained on what went wrong:  "First of all, I asked for big Bs, and he did not give me big Bs. He gave me Cs, and I didn't want them at all. Reid told the magazine that after having the surgery she noticed bumps around her nipples and was told by a doctor not to worry. After several months, though, it got worse.

Reid also said she underwent liposuction so she could get a more sculpted look. "I had body contouring, but it all went wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing," she added. But two years after the nightmare, Reid said she is happy with her body. "I'll never be perfect again, but I've got my self-confidence back."
