Fall brings with it a host of new beauty products meant to lift and brighten aging skin. Some highlights:
.The buzz on Chanel's new Sublimage has been so intense that there was a wait list before the product hit the market. The cream's rare active ingredient, made from the fruit of Madagascar 's planifolia plant, is said to fight wrinkles, loss of firmness and radiance, and dehydration; $350.
.A gem from Sonya Dakar's new UltraLuxe line, an age-control product that also controls oil. Ingredients in UltraLuxe 9OC, such as sweet almond extract and essential oils (mandarin orange, jasmine, rosemary), deal with aging issues such as wrinkles and radiance while controlling skin-clogging sebum. There's also a version for people who don't need the oil-control properties; $185 each.
.For the delicate eye area, Elizabeth Arden's popular Prevage line now has an eye treatment. Along with Idebenone, the same active antioxidant in the facial product, the eye cream also includes ingredients such as algae extract to smooth fine lines, and Haloxl, to brighten skin tone and minimize dark circles and puffiness; $95.
