Skin care and make-up for the ages at Senior Spectrum's Coastal Community Center
5 November, 2006

Women's and men's skin changes as they age. The most noticeable thing that happens to our skin as we get older is wrinkling. But wrinkles aren't the only skin change brought on by aging. According to the National Institute on Aging, skin also gets thinner and drier as we age. It sweats less. It takes longer to heal from cuts. Many of the changes can't be avoided. But proper skin care can make it easier to cope with the changes, and make a difference not only in how we look, but in how we feel. At different ages in our lives we have to take different steps in make-up and skin care. On Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at 1 p.m. Laura Tuttle from Calm Moments Spa will offer insights and suggestions on how you can keep your skin healthy and your make-up timeless as you age. Suggested donation $2.

Whatever your age in order to keep your skin healthy you need to do the same things that help you remain healthy in general eat right, exercise, avoid stress, and learn to laugh more and relax.

So that we will have the appropriate number of handouts pleases call 563-1363 by Monday morning, November 13 to let us know that you will be attending. The Coastal Community Center is located on the Second Floor of the Overlook Building, 521 Main Street in Damariscotta. Handicapped accessible parking in the rear of the building.
